Habanero’s was excited to support the Lee’s Summit Police Departments’ efforts as they raised money for Special Olympics. On January 19, 2011, Mark Wiesemann climbed onto Habanero’s roof, in freezing cold temperatures and stayed there until he raised $5,000. In addition, the Lee’s Summit Police Department served guests in the restaurant along with Special Olympic volunteers. We enjoyed working with the LSPD.
